With the addition of a new youth division and a near doubling of the number of adult entries, the Arts Council’s annual Fall Art Expo experienced one of its most successful and satisfying exhibits ever at the Sullivan County Fall Festival.
A constant stream of visitors flowed through the Fairgrounds Blue Building, over 400 of them voting for the People’s Choice Award, which was doubled to $200. Categories this year for adults were simplified to 2-D, 3-D and photography.
This year’s judges were Sullivan County Council on the Arts president Helen Day, watercolorist Ron Lent and painter Frank Rump, who recently re-located to the county with his artist wife Linda.
